Raise your hand if you love pearls. Raise both hands if you love pearl embellished anything, and have been wanting a pair of denim with these beauties adorned all over them! To say that I'm obsessed with this denim is an understatement. And I'd have to say the way that I went about getting them is kind of a funny story!

Did you happen to see my skydiving pictures on instagram a few weeks ago? Well, when we were waiting to go up in the plane for our turn to skydive, I was scrolling through instagram (like most people would have been doing, right?!) and I came across an H&M sponsored post. I started scrolling through, found these beauties (freaked out a little bit inside), and immediately called my mom to have her order them for me since I wasn't near my computer; in multiple sizes of course to ensure that at least one would fit. I think I was more nervous that we wouldn't get these in our shopping cart and ordered before they sold out than I was to jump out of a plane.......lol! True story of the lengths a fashion girl will go to get a coveted item for her closet.

I paired these jeans with a ruffle top from the new Who What Wear line for Target - if you haven't checked these pieces out, go ASAP! I've said it before, and I'll say it again: you can never have too many white blouses in your closet. The neutral color and go-with-anything versatility make a white blouse a closet staple that won't easily go out of style. I added a pop of color with my mauve velvet bag, and then found a pink wall to complete my outfit (pink wall not for sale). Velvet and metal ring handles are going to be popping up on handbags everywhere this season - grab items with these details when you see them. Anyway, happy weekend, and happy shopping loves! xoxo

Hi loves! I've been a little bit - ok actually A LOT - MIA lately, and I feel like I've been neglecting Style Sangria! I seriously feel guilty when I'm not getting new posts up for you guys!! BUT, it has been for a very good reason. The past couple weeks I have been prepping for interviews/interviewing at work for a promotion that I've been working towards for the last couple years since I started my career. All of my hard work and lack of sleep was worth it, because I received awesome news! I got the promotion, and I could not be more excited to continue advancing my career!...and back to being MIA from the blog. After all of my interviews, I caught a terrible cold, and was dealing with that for the last week. I honestly think the stress from prepping for interviews was a big reason for why I was sick. All of my hard work paid off in the end though!

Anyway, this gorgeous Aztec embroidered beauty from Loft is the perfect end of summer transition dress. The longer sleeves will allow you to wear into the early fall, and the embroidery and tassel details are very on-trend. I decided to play up the blue details in the dress by accessorizing with a blue tote and wooden block heel sandals in the same hue. Perfect for any Labor Day plans in store for this weekend! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Happy Wednesday loves! Only three more days until the weekend - who else is counting down with me?!  I don't know about you guys, but I'm obsessed with anything that has ruffles on it lately, and this top was a must buy as soon as I set my eyes on it. I love how the cutout at the shoulder is balanced out by adding ruffles at the lower part of the other sleeve, making an "asymmetrical, but not" kind of look. And how cute is the lilac piping at the edge of the ruffles?? This top runs a little more on the cropped side though, so make sure to wear with a high-waisted skirt or jeans!

I also can't forget about this pair of denim - did you guys read my post last week? I talked about my new favorite brand of denim, and how I had found three perfect pairs of jeans in two months. Well, this is one of those pairs! I simply can't give enough praise to William Rast denim. It has just the right amount of stretch (holds you in, but doesn't show too much like most jeggings), is comfortable to wear all day long no matter what you're doing, and is always on trend with just the right amount of details. I'm loving the three button fly and released hem on this pair! For reference, I'm wearing a size 28 (equates to a size 6), so buy true to size. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Hi loves! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone's week started out on the right foot. I know mine did (even with a few obstacles), thanks to these floral sunnies! Seriously, how cute are these?? I was looking for a pair of round sunglasses (LOVE my Ray-Bans but I wanted to change it up for a minute), and I stumbled upon these - it was love at first sight. I mean, how can someone have anything even close to a bad day when they have daisies on their sunglasses? Daisies + tortoise shell equals perfection in my book when it comes to finding that unique, stand-out from the crowd pair of sunnies.

AND, I wanted to share my new favorite jeans with you guys. You can't go wrong with a pair of black, destructed denim, and the released hem takes this pair to the next level. This number from William Rast fits like a glove, and makes me feel so good about myself every time I put them on! With the high rise cut and almost jegging-like feel, they are a great slimming skinny jean to add to your closet. My mom ended up buying a pair too because I couldn't stop raving about them! I've grabbed three pairs of William Rast jeans in the past two months, and I'm not looking back. I will gladly continue to fuel this obsession with zero guilt - how often can a girl say that she finds the perfect pair of jeans?? (Answer: three times in two months). Do you have any denim brands that you swear by? Leave a comment below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Hi loves! I wanted to share a little bit about our trip to Switzerland and Italy now that I'm finally not so jet lagged anymore. I had no idea how bad the jet lag was going to be, and it seems like I was the only one of our group that was really affected by it! Anyway, on to the good stuff. After spending a couple days in New York City, we flew to Milan, Italy. This is a great halfway point between Switzerland and other Italian cities if you're trying to do both in one trip! From Milan, we headed straight to Zermatt, Switzerland, which is a small town located in the Swiss Alps near the southern border of the country. We spent about 4 days in Zermatt before heading to Venice, Italy, where we explored for the second half of our trip!

Zermatt, Switzerland is hands down one of the most beautiful places I've seen. During our time there, we stayed at The Omnia, a gorgeous mountain lodge located just above the town, which provided some amazing views from our room. And their continental breakfast was nothing short of perfection. The town itself looks like it's straight out of a movie; winding brick streets, flower baskets in every window (that's no exaggeration), and chateaus everywhere. Hiking is the main attraction of the town though - if you showed up there completely unprepared for outdoor activity, there's a hiking/outdoor store on every corner that has you covered. We spent a majority of each day there exploring trails of various difficulties so we could soak up as much of the Alps as we could! Our hike on the last day in Zermatt was by far the most dangerous and scary thing I've ever done, but provided memories and views I will cherish forever. This trail led to the base of the Matterhorn, a very famous mountain of the Alps, and was the most difficult hiking level. Most of the hike took place on a path about two feet wide along the side of a cliff, with mountain on one side, and the possibility of falling off the cliff on the other. At some points, there were even ropes chiseled into rocks along the way as a little added sense of security, but it didn't ease my fears any. I had the first panic attack of my life on the side of that mountain. I kept thinking to myself, "If I'm this scared going up, how am I going to make it back down??" I pushed through though (with a little extra encouragement), and I'm so glad I did! Nothing can rival the views (or the cold beer that we rewarded ourselves with) once we made it to the top. Not only that, but I was able to overcome a mental challenge and fear, which made the reward that much sweeter.

From Zermatt, we took a train to Venice, Italy. Venice was like a completely separate vacation in a way, since the views, climate and activities were so different from Switzerland! The architecture in Italy is incredible, and so brightly colored, which provided a lot of great picture taking opportunities! We stayed in an Airbnb in the heart of the city, which provided so much convenience to anything and everything we wanted to do. It even had an adorable balcony that overlooked the street below; perfect for sharing a bottle of wine after our long days of exploring! We didn't venture to any museums or large attractions while in Venice - we didn't want to spend our time waiting in long lines, so we opted to walk around and let ourselves get lost to truly experience the city. And we of course took a gondola ride. I feel like you can't go to Venice and skip the gondola ride, no matter how touristy it has become - it's a classic! Most of our days here included wandering around the streets of the city, doing a little shopping here and there (that's where I found the necklace I'm wearing in this post), eating a lot of pasta and pizza, and drinking countless bottles of prosecco.

I caught the travel bug though, and already want to go back! I have my heart set on a vacation to Greece and the Amalfi Coast of Italy - hopefully sometime in the near future! Comment below if you've been to either of these places and any tips that you have!

Anyway, back to my outfit - I'm obsessed with anything off-shoulder or one-shoulder, and this little number from Loft goes with EVERYTHING. I feel like when I can't figure out what to wear in the morning, I will always reach for a cute white top and jeans; an easy go-to option for when you're running late for work. I think that's one item that you really can't have enough of in your closet! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Hi loves! I'm so happy to be back and sharing my favorite fashion trends with you, although I definitely could have explored Europe for another week (or two)! I'll be sharing more about our trip in my next couple posts, but I promised I would get this dress up on the blog right away for you to shop it! I wore this dress while we were staying in Venice, and I received SO many compliments on it that I lost count! This might be one of my absolute favorite dresses of the summer because it's so unique, and can be dressed up or down. I went with more of a casual look for strolling through the streets of Venice, but this dress could be worn for anything from date night to a summer wedding.

The details on this dress are stunning, whether it's the intricate pattern in the lace, the whimsical floral embroidery, or the ruffle along the bottom. I just can't get enough!! I kept the accessories simple as to not take away from the details in the dress, and paired it with my Alex and Ani bracelets and ankle wrap gladiator sandals. Side note, I wore these sandals EVERYWHERE on our trip and they were so comfortable. Not to mention, they literally go with everything! For reference, I'm wearing a size 6 in the dress, and it runs true to size! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

The gingham obsession strikes again. I seriously can't get enough of it this summer! And the best part? Even though this print is so hot right now, it will never really go out of style since it's such a classic - meaning that I'll be able to wear my gingham print pieces in the seasons to come as well. This makes my guilty conscience a little less present when I think about all the shopping I've been doing.

This little number from Tobi (www.tobi.com) is a fun option for the gingham trend, and the fact that the print is black and white makes it easy to accessorize. I threw on my destructed denim jacket (which I've had on repeat this summer) since it was a little chilly, and added some block heel sandals to dress it up a bit. Jumpsuits are such an easy "throw on and go" option, and I absolutely LOVE it - especially if I'm running late, which is usually the case. What are some of your favorite trends or gingham pieces of the summer? Comment below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! It has been crazy busy over here between getting together with friends and starting to pack for our trip to Europe next week! I'm so stressed about packing though. Does this happen to anyone else?! What are some of your travel secrets to staying sane right before a trip? I always feel like I'm going to forget something. Ahh!

Anyway, I wanted to share this adorable midi dress with you guys today! There's just something about a linen dress that feels SO summer, and the material is light and airy on top of that to help keep you cool on those super hot days! I love how the midi length balances out the cutout waist - proportion is key when playing with cutouts like this, and this dress from Tobi (www.tobi.com) is actual perfection! I accessorized with some pops of pink to make my look a little more playful. I bought these shoes in multiple colors because they are so incredibly comfortable, and can we also talk about how cute this clutch is?! I'll definitely have these on repeat this summer. Happy shopping loves! xoxo
